I don't really see how any of what Isiah has done compromises us down the road--we still have many upcoming expiring contracts in the next 2 years, we have two young promising players, one a post presence and one a slashing, high-flying defenisive whiz

That is a very accurate assessment..Whether we suck or not,Zeke has done the smart thing from a financial and cap perspective. If you have unlimited funds(cablevision),being one dollar over the cap vs 60 million, does not matter.
Duration, not magnitude is what truly matters in the case of the Knicks, and you are dead right..And for some reason rashidi can not grasp this concept...Once again, until H20 comes off the books,it doesnt matter who you signed and for how much. The only person traded and signed with a contract past H20's is Junkyard and Of course JC who is young and heading into his prime
Penny and TT are done next year as are Naz and baker. It will e interesting to see what Zeke does with 40 million of expiring contracts
