Knicks still believe

This is the theme I had made in my post in the piston game thread. I guess they feel the same, lets see what happens. I think tonights game will set the tone for the rest of the season. If we lose, the downward spiral will continue and more ping pong balls will be the future. A win however could revitalize a playoff push.

I want the Knicks to miss the playoffs because they seriously need an active big in the worst way. It would be great if they could get their hands on Bogut. Man this team needs a true center.

I want Bogut too. He has great hands, post moves, shot blocking ability, passing ability and good shooting touch and range.

Returning with healthy dose of confidence

"It's doable," Hardaway said. "You look at the games we lost and not a lot of them were blowouts."
Quote:
"We're a good team," point guard Stephon Marbury said. "We've been hampered by a number of things."

KNICKS: NOT DEAD YET

Quote:
"It's going to be an uphill fight," said Jerome Williams, acknowledging the fact that at 11 games under .500, the Knicks hardly look like a team ready to challenge for a postseason berth. "But the players on this team are game."
Quote:
"Defense comes down to just hustling," Hardaway said. "I don't know if we do that every possession. We need to focus better."
A lot of articles today expressing the fight that the Knicks still have. It is always a good sign to see that a team hasn't given up and wants to do their best to win.

Knicks Need Inspiration and More

Quote:
There are 29 games left, and the Knicks - 21-32 at the break - probably need to win 20 to make the playoffs. Few people with jobs outside of Madison Square Garden believe it is possible.
Quote:
"To see guys where they look sort of healthy, it's a good feeling," Coach Herb Williams said.
