This is a typical Larry Brown media ploy to light a fire under the rearends of James and Curry. He might be serious about trying to get Butler some minutes in the regular season, but he is far from serious about giving him more minutes than either of their high-priced free agent aquisitions.

I don't think the "get in shape, or else" statement is that much of a PR Ploy.

JJ is JJ---he's been a lazy, inconsistent player for His NBA Career. HE WILL NOT PLAY if he's not ready....my bet is that he'll be a Pine Time Player!...he and FatMo will swap info on good places to get takeout.

Curry will play....he's gonna get every consideration based on his talent and youth---and, yes, the INVESTMENT. But he'll only get so much rope.

Great coaches don't play lazy and No-D basketball players.

I haven't seen much of Butler---he's a project, but he already has developed a very usable skill as a Space Eater-rebounder that is translating at the NBA Level. He's big and strong and Young----and he's cut 30 pounds.

The game i saw, I thought Butler was the better player. I even got the players mixed up at first cause i didn't know Butler could do what he did.
