I don't understand this Anti-Brown venom...
There is nothing wrong with what he said. He had those guys for 2 years and forged relationships with them. Why shouldn't he envy a team of title caliber that he used to coach? Don't be dumb.
Everytime the Knicks play very well and take command in a game it's because they are playing the way LB taught them. When they stray, they suck. When Marbury is playing like he has recently and the rest of the team plays like they are champions with heart, then thats what they look like...champions. Who do you think is respsonsible? Better hope that LB stays as long as he can.....

Re: Larry brown Dislikes Job?
Why does it seem like everyone is upset with LB over the slow start. He is the LAST reason anyone should be mad at the team. Look at the poor defense and the turnovers and the lack of making a big shot. What about JC throwing up a 3 with like 2 min left last night with like 15 sec left on the shot clock.( I would have benched him right there) As dog alpha said.....you better hope he stays for a long time.

i didnt say i hate the way hes coaching, i disprove what he says about wanting to go back to detroit. If he doesntr want to be here, then whats the point of him coaching here, i love the way he coaches though, i believe its the playres. they dont know each other very well, and they are a work in progress

youre being a tad bit ridiculous. he wanted to stay in detroit and thought he would retire with the pistons. Instead, he was let go by Dumars and now he is with the Knicks. He loved his players and is sad that he couldnt stay. OF Course he'd rather be in detroit right now which is in a better situation as title contedors, what coach would not want to be there?

of course but i meant that he keeps saying that he doesnt want to be here, which to me, means he wants to coach somewhere else. I understand your point about any1 wanting to be in detroit, but i just want larry to feel a bit more posotive about being in NY

He did not want to stay in Detroit, he forced that buyout. He wanted to coach in NY and the comments he made are being taken too seriously. He does not want to go back there, no matter how much the Knicks struggle, and their actually starting to improve, he is in his dream job. You always have to take what Brown says with a grain of salt. He has said so many things in the past and then done something completely different.

Re: Larry brown Dislikes Job?
knew he wasnt going to be around for the 7 years they signed him...
I say after this year he'll be gone if changes aren't made.. he obviously dosent like the way things are ran in NY

Re: Larry brown Dislikes Job?
The man is a SLOW starter. Give him time. This is actually the first time I feel comfortable saying this about a knicks coach for a while now.

Man some of you guys are crazy IMO. LB's a great coach, you should be happy to have him..even if it is only for a year or two.
