Word in Colorado is that LB is looking for a PG that can play. Here's a thought...

Would you guys be willing to do this trade? Earl Watson and Julius Hodge for Quentin Richardson and a 2nd round pick?

Think about it. Earl is a great defensive PG who can hit the 3...J. Hodge is getting no burn in Denver thanks to coach Karl, but was the ACC player of the year last year, and very athletic. Q-Rich would fill a huge gap in the SG position in Denver, and a 2nd rounder would be filler space. You guys could move Steph over to SG and let him do what he does best...SCORE!

The money should work, but what do New Yorkers think about this scenario?

Funny thing is, I actually brought up a trade like this last night over in the Nuggets vs. Hawks game thread. Something involving Watson and Q Rich. As a Nugs fan, I would love to see something like this happen. I have a feeling Kiki might be hesitant to get rid of Hodge, though. The whole reason I was in this forum was actually to see if there were any opinions from Knicks fans regarding this kind of deal, before I made a thread in the Nuggets forum. Also, my condolensces to Richardson, just heard the news about his brother.

Watson is a marginal PG with a superstar sized contract. Q is a good sg/sf who can shoot the trey bomb and when healthy is actually one of our BEST rebounders.

I pass on this unless denver throws in first round pickS. Yes notice the S at the end.

This trade doesn't look so bad to me. I like what i've seen from Watson but i dunno much about Hodge. If Hodge has star potential and since he is a rookie i think it would be a good deal for both sides. Stephon would beast at sg and we would have a pg to rely on to simply hold on to the ball when needed and otherwise get the ball to our scorers where they can score. Hodge would make the Knicks pretty set for the future and Watson would give Steph a chance to show how good a sg he can be.
