trevor ariza career so far?
how do you new york fans feel about ariza so far, he's one of my favourite players, & i think you should see him in the dunk contest this year, aside from his oft jams on random poor poor players, i heard he is great on D, is he a good defensive forward?
what do you like? don't like? what do you expect in the future? should he put a starter?

Ariza is a player with a bright Future a real steal. He needs to work on a jump shot. Also Ariza slammed on Big Ben and he is not a "poor poor" player. He can play great d. He is learning to drive to the basket. Ariza will be a key part of the rebuilding of New York.

Renaldo Balkman is a man on a mission. To prove the doubters wrong.

A differing view...
I think he is a player with promise, yes, but this year has largely been a disappointment. He has shown little improvement in the way of ball handling and shooting...hitting the J only occassionally. Although he plays with great energy, his potential of being a very good defensive player has also not materialized. He disappears for long stretches in games. That being said, its far too early to give up on him. He is a great leaper and dunker, but is far from a being good on any other facet of the game.

100% correct!!!
Ariza is a guy with All Star talent---I have seen NOT ONE ADVANCE IN HIS GAME!!! The best players in the game, even those who enter the league as superb players, are the guys who rapidly and voraciously add layers to their games---you saw it with Ewing and Jordan---you see it now with Jefferson and Lebron. Ariza needs to decide how good he wants to be.

Re: trevor ariza career so far?
Looks like he fell out of favor with LB. Brown was quoted as saying he is fighting behind Lee and Woods. Ariza was surprised he put up a DNP and said he was confused.

Re: trevor ariza career so far?
well. LB quoted him saying he was miffed today or something and wasn't as smart as LB thought he was, but hey, running out of room for him on the three may not necessarily mean he's out of a position y'know, i think possibly they're going to try and form him into a 2 guard, that'd be nice and seriously put nate back to where he truly belongs (got love for nate) but i'd love to see him actually play the point and be the youg knicks' floor general

Re: trevor ariza career so far?
All Ariza has is athleticism. And not even to the extent of a LeBron or a Wade. He can defend somewhat only because he's long. But other than that, he doesn't really keep players in front of him. He can just play the passing lanes well because he has those long arms and giant strides. He can't shoot. And his ball handling skills are...well, nonexistant. He's a great liability on the offense. I wouldn't mind him being on the court if he never holds the ball unless it was a rebound.

Re: trevor ariza career so far?
yeah kitty, this is the most interactive forum, but the thing is that this forum is more general and has more topics and it was somewhat confusing to me when i first started on this so i neglected it, but now i've found my way through and yeah. basically it's pretty good with so many members
