Vecsey is an idiot...
No doubt that Frye is talented but he struggles defensively. As his D gets better, his minutes will increase. There is a reason that LB coaches and Vecsey writes. Those that can coach, do...those that can't write bad things about those that can.

Re: Time for Larry to Let it Frye
yes indeed. people were (maybe still are) jumping ship on the Knicks, while in reality i'm very encouraged about them (and not because i happen to be a nosy Celts fan ). Both Channing Frye and Eddy Curry are going to be excellent front-line players, Crawford as a sixth man who knocks down big shots, and Robinson has blazing speed, if he can couple it with good PG instincts/skills, New York will make the playoffs next year. I'm not even ruling this out, they may pull a revival.

Curry, Marbury, Lee, Crawford, Ariza, Robinson, and Frye are 7 people. You can't play 7 people every minute of the game.

Sure you can. Just pay off the refs. Works for the Spurs

And thus, Peter Vecsey loses the credibility he never had.
Anyway, Frye off the bench works, they need a balanced bench, not a stacked starting lineup. Curry is out of shape. They need someone to come in for him that's not named Jerome James. Curry and Frye is counter productive since they're both primarily offensive players and wont get the same amount of touches if they both start.
And how do seven players play every minute possible in every game? If you throw AD and Mo in there you've got the Knick rotation anyway.
