He's gotten better every day in practice. And it shows when he plays. He's more under control, he understands more. It's been terrific to watch him progress like that."

It seemed like a good deal to bench him, to let him know his minutes are guaranteed and the only way to get them is to earn them by playing hard. We should do that with Channing too, I mean it's not his fault, but if it worked for Nate, then we should try it with Channing.

I'm still waiting for free agency, then Seattle is gonna sign him. When's his rookie contract over?

His contract is up during the 2009-2010 season if we pick up two team options during that time. You're looking at getting him for the 2010-2011 season.
