in the summer league... i think they are doing very well and.. i feel like we got a good young core to build on...looks like zeke could still draft well .. i just hope he can coach...

Yea, I really like how Lee and Balkman are looking right now. They are playing well and showing off their skills.

Balkman had his best game so far with a double double 13pts, 13 boards in Game 3 against the Kings. Lee has been the most consistent. Nate may be scoring a lot of points, but his turnovers are his achilles heal, and his shooting percentage isn't great. I wanted to see more of Frye, but unfortunately for the injury we may not see him for the rest of the summer league. ::

lee looks like he's improving...still needs to work on FT's....

balkmans looking good....he was brought in to rebound and defend so yea he's doing decent.....

nate on the other hand seems out of control sometimes....basically i havent seen anything to differentiate nates game from last year to now.....but its still early we'll see

kitty, lee had 13 and 13. balkman had 11pts 8rbs and 2blks. that was his best game. lee is by far doing the best. his jumper got a lot better. balkman is a very good defender and he can block shots. y didnt frye play. i heard that he hurt his ankle vs the suns but y isnt he playing anymore games?

Oops, my bad. The stupid Knicks website said Balkman had 13 and 13 in the game summary in the summer league thread, but the box scored read differently. Even the folks at Knicks.com can't get anything right.

I just got back from Vegas. I saw the Knicks play on Monday and Tuesday. I have to disagree on Renaldo. He is certainly athletic and can play defense and rebounds well for his size but he has very little offensive skills and it is obvious that in most instances he doesn't want the ball on offense unless he is driving to the basket. If he wants to play much he needs to develop on offense. Forget about Collins, his shot is very weak. Lee looked very good although he was whining constantly about the refs. The big surprise to me was Brian Greene, a 6'7" small forward from Colorado State. He has a game similar to Rip Hamilton. The Knicks played pretty good defense but most of the players will not be in the NBA this year.
