the marbury/francis backcourt is really the least of my concerns for 2 reasons , the offense is built around creativity and finding your niche in it , so in theory the better players and more versatile players have the biggest advantage in finding their place in it, especially if they dominate the ball, or move without the ball well. and the 2nd and probably most important reason is zeke has shown he will bench you if he thinks you are costing him games in indy...so i expect that trend to continue in ny especially with what he has at stake.
jalen was the star of that team there and he sat frequently for al harrington until the switch was more expected than not in the 4th quarter...likewise to a lesser extent jamal tinsley for jamison brewer or travis best.
i think zeke's coaching style is the simplest there is ....play the way i want you to ...or sit until you do , and with the knicks depth it should push players who want to play especially at the perimeter spots.
and i feel there is no spot on the roster for udoka although IT likes to keep a purely defensive player on the roster just because he knows he can trust him to play D(ie. jamison brewer) the knicks have 17 players basically not counting any summer league players that caught Thomas' fancy and i have to assume that udoka is below Qwoods on the depth chart because woods can do everything udoka can do ...when motivated , but can also be an absolutely perfect fit for the offense due to his excellent skillset and rebounding ability....and if butler returns not even woods will.
