OT: Big Sweetney!
Quote:
|
Center Michael Sweetney< b> has felt the effects of the first few two-a-day practices. Sweetney, who appears heavier than the 270 pounds listed on the preseason roster, was dehydrated to the point of needing intravenous fluids Wednesday night and did not practice Thursday.

Re: OT: Big Sweetney!
That's too bad. I was a big fan of Sweets when he was here. Not that I wanna see him help the Bulls, but I would be happy if he developed into a good player.

Re: OT: Big Sweetney!
Knick prospects must all be jinxed by the Bulls. Ain't it funny that Mike Sweetney's fate may very well be the same as Frank Williams? Williams was so good for us, I think him starting put us on a 4 game win streak that came against Dwayne Wade, Jason Williams (with the Grizzlies) and I think Paul Pierce. He goes to the Bulls and does not even last a year there.

Re: OT: Big Sweetney!
First thing that need to be noted is that the Chicago Bulls have the worst B-Ball Programs for any young Player. I thought the Clippers had the worst B-Ball Program since the start of their Franchise, but the Chicago Bulls Before Jordan and After Jordan has to be the worst B-Ball Program in the NBA History.

Re: OT: Big Sweetney!
It does seem to that they've stunted the growth of many young players, but it's hard to argue with the play of Hinrich, Gordon, and Duhon.
