Succeed or Fail?

At this point in time, is it more preferenced that the Knicks succeed and garner a decent record and get stuck with Isiah Thomas or garner a sub-par record and watch Thomas get fired?

Re: Succeed or Fail?

I think its pretty much a cinch that Zeke stays at this point .

He could have weathered the storm and ran a guard powered off. all along to most likely slightly better and more consistant results , but he went a different route and developed his players and its paying off.

bringing in some1 else to chuck it all and start another 3 year rebuilding effort seems like spinning wheels. I actually think he's done pretty well considering the wreckage he was given to start out with.

not one player he inherited starts now...only 3 are even decent bench players(kurt thomas, sweetney & mcdyess), the rest are either gone or barely hanging on in the nba...the team he got was old , declining and boring. the knicks now are the opposite of all 3.

his trades are beginning to look like sucesses, and his draft picks make him look like the nba's premier talent evaluator( free agent signings , another story )....a team could do worse. i dont think people should hate thomas to the point the would suffer through a miserable 2nd half.
