Knicks Fastbreak Players

Do the Knicks have any Fastbreak Players or Finishers on their team?
Should the Knicks go after a player that can help them make easy baskets from his defense and passing or speed and scoring in this draft?
Or should they look for a player that can help out their 48 minutes of halfcourt offense with Marbury, Crawford, Q.Rich, Jefferies, and Curry?

Marbury, Crawford, Q.Rich, Jefferies, Malik, James, Curry, are all to slow to run a decent fastbreak, plus their passing ability to pass off their dribble is turnover prone. Also throwing a lob pass seem impossible for these guys.

Collins, Balkman, Nate, Lee, Frye, and sometime want to play Francis has showed repeatedly that they belong on a fastbreaking team with their hustle to elude their oponents on defense. They have speed in their play with percision passing from their court-awareness of teammates.
It's a shame that they are the Knicks young players (except for Francis) that have to play behind the Knicks BUM Halfcourt veterans whom receive the majority of the playingtime.

The excitement is gone from the Knicks in the Garden with all of Isiah Thomas Halfcourt Players...

Re: Knicks Fastbreak Players

I'm reading all these repsonses to this J.O'Neal comming to New York Post to help Eddy Curry in the middle.

1) Curry is a Heart condition player!

2) Jermain O'Neal is a season injury player with knees that gives out in midseason.

If anything I would trade these two players for one another. The Knicks younger core of players such as Frye, Lee, Nate, Balkman, and Collins, I see a six year future in the NBA Postseasons game with their talent. Which can not be said about Curry or O'Neal. To give up two of the Knicks young core players for O'Neal health problems each season is not to wise.

I'm sure that Seattle Sonics Lenny Wilkins has radar this offseason on Nate Robinson & Crawford who leads the Seattle Street tournament Games Backcourt in the offseason with nothing but Pure-Excitement after excitement tandem plays from the two combo-guards who came off the bench for the Knicks to out score their oposition early this past season. Untill Isiah Thomas broke that backcourt bench tandem up because they out played Marbury & Francis on bothsides of the court (it did'nt look good for the Knicks STAR Players).

Isiah had the right idea last offseason by adding a defensive player in the middle of No-defense Curry and Marbury with Jefferies. But Jefferies is not Ron Artest who can defend PG, SG, SF, and PF very well. Jefferies was always surrounded by defensive teammates in his NBA career to make him look good as a defensive player.

With 6.10 Randolph Morris added to the Knicks roster and a trade of the Knicks 23rd pick with Jared Jefferies contract to the Kings for Ron Artest the Knicks will become the 500% Post season Team they should be in the BIG-APPLE (that is all the Knicks need this offseason)...
