One Day I can see David Lee

Is this "PURE-FACT" or optimism?

"One day I can see David Lee"
averaging 32 MPG, 18 pts, 10 rbds, 3 ast, 1 stl, and alot of great WINNING hustle that is not recordeed on the stat-sheet.

When we mention Player David Lee on this Knick Team it is not theory, optimism, or guessing, his performance is consistent and based on Pure-Facts. He can switch to all three Frontcourt positions (during any play) and play them well, his defense against Super-Star Players in the frontcourt position vs Center-Shaq, or PF-KG or Duncan, or SF-Pierce or Lebron maybe the same as the average defenders vs these Super-Star Players however, his offensive awareness in his passing-game, running-game, rebounding-game, and hustling for that lose-ball vs Frontcourt Super-Stars has made David Lee performance outstanding and the complimentary-player you want on the court at the "START and FINISH" of each game.
David Lee has become a player you can depend on to do the things that the next player won't.
And the next Player that is following in David Lee footsteps is 6.7 Renaldo Balkman as the Point-Foward who LUV to play trapping-defense in presuring the ball on oponents backcourt and frontcourt players bringing the ball up court. His outstanding performance switching positions as a SF rebouder and running the Point to beat the oponents Center & PF down the court on a fastbreak for a "3 on 1" or a "3 on 2" is another Pure-Fact that can be talked about.
YEAH! that's right, David Lee two season performances has made me a David Lee Fan!!!

David Lee is a very good player and quite capable of 10 boards , 3 assists and 1 steal in 32 minutes...

but the 18 points in 32 minutes is not very likely in fact i would say its almost impossible for him, he literally hasn't scored at that rate since high school, over 6 years ago....and of course it was against high schoolers.

he is many good things but a scorer of that caliber (only marbury, randolph and curry have scored as many points as 18 in a season , and have done at a clip that they could squeeze it into 32 minutes) is extremely unlikely especially considering he has scored 1 point for roughly every 3 minutes of play during his time in the nba....generally scorers score at a rate around 1 point for every 2 minutes or better even in their 1st couple of seasons.

but he really doesn't need to score like that to be effective anyway, he was getting his 32 minutes a game last season until the injury curtailed his stats and minutes , he was just fine.

only 1 person on the whole knicks team scored 18 a game , to score that much basically makes him the focus of the offense and i dont even think thats how he'd be most effective.

Re: One Day I can see David Lee

Last season the Knicks offense went directly to Eddy Curry the entire season. Making the Knick Team average 97 points per game while their oponents average 100 points per game. To keep Curry on the court to average 30 or more MPG the Knicks would not let Curry play defense. If Curry plays defense this season he will average 26 MPG staying in foul trouble. And Zach Randolph too. This is why both players average 35 MPG last season on losing LOTTERY teams (No effort on Defense). Another note is the Eastern Conference Bigmen may not be scorers like the Western Conference Bigmen, they are defensive pounders that have a trick for KG, Lewis, and Zach that all made comments in the past about the East being Weak.

The Knicks Head Coach will have to demand both Curry & Zach to play hard defense this season in the second half of each game even if they have to average 5 fouls per game if they want their oponents to average under 97 points per game. This would surely lead the Knicks into the Post-Season Games.

All the he said she said about Eddy Curry practicing this or that this offseason will show in this regular season. Curry weakness is his awareness in the passing game when doubled teamed, alot of suicides this offseason should help him get back on defense. Who really cares if he improves on his offense this offseason? The Knicks have offensive players that had to dump the ball to Curry the last two seasons.

The predictions on how well Zach Randolph will do with the Knicks is just that a prediction (Shareef Abdul Raheem), theory, and optimistic Knick-Fans who just want a Winning Season, its been a very long time since the 1999 Knicks FINALS.

If Curry & Zach play some Defense consistently this season (at least in the second half of each game) than alot of playingtime will be given to Players David Lee, Balkman, Morris, and Jefferies (if Jefferies can fit into his teammates talents this season).
However, the Bulk of playingtime in the frontcourt will be given to David Lee whom will kick the ball around for Q.Rich, Crawford, Marbury, Nate, and Balkman to score if he does not have an easy basket (these are the other Knick double digit scorers on the team that been put to the side last season to improve Eddy Curry offense. Now we have Zach!!!).
