Ideas for a new and improved knicks

Of course with the firing of Isiah:

Trade Eddy Curry to the cavs and get a s&t Varejao.
Trade Zach to the lakers for Kwame, pick and Turiaf.
Draft Gordon or Rose.
Buyout Marbury and if not, sit him and make him pay.
Trade Nate Robinson and Crawford/Q Rich + that laker pick to get someone like Andre Miller.
The defense would be set with the bigs and then the offense would be coming from the 3,2,and 1 positions. Well maybe not so much at the 3.

Varejao/Kwame
Lee/Turiaf
Balkman/Chandler
E Gordon/Q Rich
A Miller/M Collins (or Rose/M Collins at pg and sg would have Q Rich and someone else via trade)

Hmm not a bad start.

keep marbury, someones gonna want him next year for cap relief.....and if Varejao comes on a S&T he's gonna be way over paid..........we've got enough varejao's on this team, he'll just be another hustler with no offensive skill

If the Knicks were smart they would KEEP Marbury and let his contract expire. It doesn't make sense to trade him for another overpaid player that a team no longer wants.

Re: Ideas for a new and improved knicks

Varejao would be a nice tandem next to No Defense-Curry, or even No Defense-Zach.

The Knicks just drafted two scoring SF that they should have kept together to compete with each other this season (Chandler & D-Nichols). Because Q.Richardson is heading next to James as the 15th man on the bench (He's a BUM). And Jefferies is a defensive Role-Player inwhich you need 3 to 4 scorers on the court with him.
Balkman is the Knicks Starting SF!

The Big Problem lies in having TWO uncoachable 30 minute Guards that cant play to a basic system in Marbury & Crawford. Both have to go! leaving one behind is just as bad as both. They both are inconsistent and cant work together or with others.
