Knicks @ Magic Game Thread: 12/26/07 - 7:30PM

Coach Isiah Thomas sent a lethargic team home with a Christmas goose. Nothing else has gotten their attention. Thomas promised to shuffle the lineup after watching his starters come out slowly again on Sunday against the Lakers. He's not going to unveil the plan until the Knicks play on Wednesday in Orlando. "We probably had the wrong guys starting," Thomas said. "We'll look to change our lineup and try to get some more energy and defensive guys in the starting lineup.

As bad as the New York Knicks might be, there are no easy home games for the Magic this season. The Magic (18-11) return to action Wednesday night at Amway Arena against the Knicks (8-19), who might be everyone else's punching bag, yet the Magic won't take them lightly. Orlando, still atop the Southeast Division, has lost four consecutive home games and remains baffled by its inability to develop any kind of home-court advantage.

Knick Starters vs Magic
PG-Crawford
SG-Q.Rich
SF-Jefferies
PF-Lee
C-Curry
The best thing about the above lineup was the 3-SF defensive presure from "6.6 Q.Rich, 6.9 Lee, 6.11 Jefferies" it worked well for the first three quarters holding a 1 to 4 point lead for the Knicks with Zach on Howard, and Lee taking advantage of Lewis, and Jefferies defending Turk well, being those 3 players are the Orlando Magics biggest scorers the Knicks didnt mind the Magic Guards scoring on Q.Rich and Crawford. The Start of the 4th Qtr. was where the Knicks loss the game with Curry, Malik, and Q.Richardson trying to defend the Magics 3 scoring bigmen. 110-96 Knick Loss.
Starters
PG-Crawford wrong move when Nate is an original Starter.
SG-Q.Richardson wrong move when Bum Crawford is the best SG on the Knicks.
SF-Jefferies wrong move when Balkman has not been getting any playingtime with the Starters this season, and should be given a 5-game start with Nate & Crawford to get his motovation back. Jefferies is a 2nd half role-player.
PF-Lee about time, the best overall talented PF on this team.
C-Curry need motovated teammates in the starting lineup to make him move his fat ....
The Knicks Starters should be:
PG-Nate untill Marbury comeback with some Sense.
SG-Crawford
SF-Balkman
PF-Lee
C-Curry
The Bench Players should be:
6th-Zach
7th-Chandler
8th-Collins
9th-Jones
10th-Jefferies
11th-Morris
Malik & Q.Richardson LOST their playingtime with their Big Mouth (one want to be traded and the other dont want to be taken out of the game when playing bad.).
P.S. The Knicks BIGGEST Problem is not having BUM Veteran Players on the roster but the "Playbook" performance assigned to the players on the roster (to play at) by the non-thinking-Coach and his clueless coaching staff.
We all seen last season how far away from the paint Coach Isiah Thomas assigned Channing Frye to play at for the sake of Eddy Curry low-post offense. Zach Randolph played the sameway Frye was assigned for two games this season with Curry in the low post, and the Knicks got blown out in both games. Which proved to "ME" the Knicks Coaching is and has been inferior to NBA B-BALL...
