Knicks vs Bulls Game Thread: 1/8/08 @8:30PM
Knicks:

Zach Randolph and Eddy Curry just don't seem to fit under the rim. They were back in the starting lineup together on Saturday in Houston but struggled to get up to speed as the Knicks quickly fell behind. When they are both on the floor, the offense sputters and teammates spend a lot of time working to balance the ball distribution. Randolph and Curry did combine for 34 points against the Rockets, but they gave up at least that many, which is the real concern.

A hectic schedule will finally calm down a little for the Bulls. Tuesday's clash with the New York Knicks at the United Center is their only game for five days. Immediately after Jim Boylan took over as interim head coach on Dec. 27, the Bulls played six games in nine days. They went 4-2 and suffered two frustrating overtime losses at home against Orlando and Portland. Boylan is now looking forward to his first chance at some extended practice time.

Granted Deng is out, but the Knicks are only down by five (38-33) with 8:47 left in the second.

That brief lead is long gone. 92-84 Chicago with a FT coming for Eddie, and about 10 minutes left in the game.

Awful refereeing in this game. Even the announcers had to mention it a number of times. Missed calls, incorrect calls - it's like the refs took the night off.

Agree. Too many bad calls. Isiah wasn't happy at all.

For once, he has someone else to blame (in part) legitimately. Knicks within two after a huge three by...Q!
