This doesnt surprise me at all tbh. when there are more cancerous players in the locker room than Zach, you know something is up. And its interesting how the Knicks are now realizing how much of a bonehead move it was to trade away Channing Frye. While zach looked impressive for a year or two, he really can only do one thing...and thats create controversy. Randolph is tradeable, but not for what the Knicks were asking for from the Bucks.

He's a very overpaid player, so its not going to be easy to get anything in return.

I would be willing to bet the only thing valuable the Knicks might get is an expiring contract. Who knows, you could always try and trade for Larry Hughes...hes just another overpriced has-been that fits perfectly into Isiahs culture at MSG.

ben wallace and a 1st rounder(protected) seems fair to me, but the bulls wont go for it because they would never take on more years when it appears their core needs to be broken up and a complete rebuilding effort may occur.

the deal being spoke about with the bucks to me is the best shot at dealing zach...they need a post up player and the knicks need guys who do the dirty work and play off the ball.

well, it's either Zach or 2 years of nothing from Steve Francis. As bad as Zach has been along with his awful contract, he still has some trade value I would think as low post scoring is hard to come by these days. Even looking back now it wasn't a bad trade, the Knicks weren't going anywhere with or without Randolph.

seifer's probably right: at least Randolph is a tradeable asset. Perhaps not this year, because of his contract. But someone will likely take a chance on him in the next year or so.
