The New Knick Coach Will Be..........
Quote:
|
A source close to the new Knicks boss says that Donnie Walsh is certain to make a coaching change and that former Knick Mark Jackson and former Bulls coach Scott Skiles are two candidates to replace Isiah Thomas. Knicks assistant Herb Williams and Celtics assistant coach Tom Thibodeau also could be under consideration. Jackson's name also has been linked to the GM job. Former 76ers GM Billy King is another candidate and there is an outside chance that Walsh could make Jackson the coach while also bringing Chris Mullin back to New York.

I'll take Thibedou! Or give Herby a shot! Just as long as Isiah is showned the door.

To even consider Skiles means that the rumors of moving Curry are very real.

^ You're definitely not alone there, though I'd feel bad for Herb Williams if he got passed over yet again - especially for someone with no coaching experience.

Re: The New Knick Coach Will Be..........
Does it really matter what Head Coach the Knicks pick to replace Isiah, when the Knick organization will force the new Head Coach to use the same Bum Coaching Staff that they forced Larry Brown to use.
The Knicks long coaching staff deserve just as much credit as Dum-Dum Isiah for the 33 win season, 23 win season, 33 win season, and now another 23 win season.
The Knicks 81st game of the season vs the Boston Celtics without the Big-3 was another Knick loss.
It was nice to see the Knicks young players get out on the court however, Randolph Morris only received 7 minutes of playingtime in that game while the Boston Celtics bigman rookie Kendrick Perkins received 26 minutes of playingtime. The two rookie bigmen would've been a nice matchup to watch pairing off.
What is the Knicks going to do with 6.11 Randolph Morris this offseason?
I Luv Nate Robinson, he out dominated Rondo in the 2nd quarter however, in the 2nd half of this game Rondo's overall performance as a combo-guard out played Nate in every area of the game, chewing Nate up alive play after play.
The skillz inwhich Rondo has learned being the starting PG for the "BIG-3" in just one season it takes the average PG 4 to 5 seasons in the league to learn.
I'm not saying this because he embarrased my Fav player Nate, Rondo been putting it on several experience NBA PG & SG this season.
I still say the Knicks should've let Herb Williams & Mark Aquire be the Head Coach of this team in its last 12 games of the season; using the Knicks Bench-Players only in their rotation during those 12 games, as if this is the Preseason games.
Walsh took a job as President where he will have to keep all of Dolan & Mills Pet employees...
