Angry Walker or Van horn

Well it seems like spree trade talks are swirling around these two guys. Just wanted to get everyones opinion on who is the lesser of two evils. For me, it's walker.

Van Horn is the lesser of the two because Walker at least could lead a team. He's not doing it the way everyone wants him to but he can. Van Horn would never in a million years be able to take control of a game. Hes just not aggressive enough.

Good question. Walker brings more to the table with his leadership and toughness, but at least KVH really CAN shoot.

van horn can only shoot if no one is close to him which is almost never.

I'd take Walker in a second, even with his faults. I also don't get why everyone thinks that Van Horn is such a good shooter -- I'm sure any Philly fan (I roomed with two last year) will tell you he isn't at all. He shoots in the mid-40's from the field and in the mid-30's from three. While there is nothing wrong with those percentages, I certainly wouldn't label anyone who puts those up a great shooter. His shooting also seems to drop heavily when it is needed most; I don't recall him being a key part of many 4th quarter comebacks. Also, Van Horn is very much a one-quarter player -- he seems to put up 85% of his box score in a single quarter. While for that one quarter he may be the man, he is almost dead weight on the court for the rest of his minutes. His contract runs for three more seasons at around $14 million per, whereas Walker has only two seasons (at similar pay) on his. I don't see why anyone would even consider taking Van Horn over Walker.

Keith Van Horn is NOT a shooter. He's a streak shooter with a decent shot who only gets credit with being a shooter because he doesn't do anything else well. KVH is also the worst kind of tweener, too weak for PF and too slow for SF, and not smart enough of a player to figure out what to do about it except wait for a pass behind the 3-point arc.

An aging Sprewell who's lost a step is still much better than Van Horn in his prime. Walker is much more preferable than Van Horn. Walker at least tries to win.

During the post season theyre about the same but in season antoine walker is so much better . Defensively this guys cant do didley squat. In the season Antoine walker can score better, better at 3 eventho he shoots many more. He is a better inside presence and rebounder. He has pretty good passing ability and it gives the knicks size instead of some white boy with over heighted sox....
