Chaney said that if General Manager Scott Layden could not make a deal, he was likely to play a small backcourt and use Howard Eisley and Frank Williams at both backup guard positions. Layden has until 6 p.m. Monday, when regular-season rosters are set, to attempt to alleviate that logjam at power forward.
Maybe Frank can take over the starting spot sometime during the season.

The Knicks would love to trade Harrington for a swingman off the bench. Shandon Anderson has been brutal in training camp filling in. There is no backup shooting guard on the roster. If there's no trade, Chaney said he'll use Howard Eisley at shooting guard, which will allow Frank Williams minutes at point guard.
NICE

Williams was a shoot first PG in college anyway, and Eisley has gunner 3pt shooting ability. I figured Eisley was over Anderson at the SG depth chart, since Anderson is more useful as a SF.
