Since we are in the season of replacing incompetence with EVEN MORE incompetence, why not?

Isiah Thomas? This man makes in competency an art form.

From the CBA to Toronto to Indiana, this guy has proven to be an even worse front office executive than MJ. And yes, that means he's a worse executive than Layden too.

I never worried about Layden trading Kurt Thomas for Lamond Murray. He asked for Bosh. With Isiah, now I'm worried about the Knicks trading Kurt AND a 2nd round pick for Murray.

The only positives I can think of are

1. The city of NY will be temporarily invigorated by Layden's firing before realizing that it doesn't matter who the GM is.

2. Isiah Thomas is the biggest star basketball player in NY now.

3. There is now a 2% chance that Jermaine O'Neal will forsake his chance to be on a special team and demand a trade to the Knicks.

4. The reason the terror alert was elevated to orange today is because Isiah came to town.
