Do the Knicks go ahead and make the Danny Fortson trade. Talks will probably surface again, but I wouldd'nt do it. If Dyess can't go for a large part of the season, lets get ready for the lottery. We should rebuild anyway. Lets let the time pass and dump the ridiculous contracts.

But if Dyess is healthy lets go out make the playoffs and a run at the Eastern Conference title.

Drop to the lottery? The lottery is risky, there are years it's 20 players deep, there are years it is a complete bomb, and the 1st pick works out to be a slightly better than role player...

Unless you think they will have enough lottery balls to get the first pick, there is no reason to tank, trading for a few complimentary players would help a bit.
