Lose baby,lose
This is gonna be the year the Knicks do it!!! We are going to stink up the garden like never before,or at least in the last 17 years..But at least we will be neck and neck in the Lebron sweepstakes with Denver...
The real question is can we be SO bad that Cablevision decides to sell the garden franchises so this scmuck,Dolan can stop destroying the NY teams
So lets all show our support and hope that Fab five of
KT
Spoon
Anderson
Ward
Houton
get their butts kicked every night...It shouldnt be hard with that group...Whats hard to believe is that we are spending 94 million to tank the season

Petey,
Knick management had two choices before the draft....continue the downward spiral by trading for veterans or start the rebuilding process NOW....I am not second guessing the McDyess move, but obviously that trade had its inherent risks and it became a sad reality.....
So where do the Knicks stand now????
The teams best player is at odds with management and anyone can see he is not going to be here for long..
We are well over the cap with no relief in sight, and the team will be lucky to win 30 games...
Which by the way is the good news..The ONLY way this team gets better is by TANKING the season...Face it,Mcdyess will NEVER be the same and would give a guy an extension with his medical problems???
Spree is a goner, and its time to start the youth movement...There is no other way out of this mess, unless Paul Allen or Marc Cuban buys the Knicks and has total disregard for the cap and its penalties for being over it...
If you are a true Knick fan, hope for the worst and pray we get the number one pick in the draft...Thats the cold reality of being a Knick fan

Even if one of them bought the team, or someone like them, it wouldn't matter. No one is taking the stiffs they have off their hands.
Now they could just cut a lot of them (Eisley, Anderson, etc), and take a HUGE hit one year, that might work.

Whats AMAZING to me is how Layden survives...Other than the Celts GM,he is the worst judge of talent I have ever seen...I mean, how in the world do you sign Spoon,Eisly and Anderson to long term deals?????Ill forgive him on the Dyess move even though it was a HUGE gamble, but this guy Doleac???He couldnt get time on the Cavs, let alone the Knicks...I hope we lose 82 games,Layden gets fired and we get james

Even thought the situation is bad, I still think a good team can be salvaged by savvy personnell moves.
* I still think my proposed trade of Spree and Spoon for Stoudamire and Patterson is both a feasible trade and one that would make the Knicks better.
* Add to that a trade of your trade exception for Fizer and Dillybar Bagaric from the Bulls
This gives you:
Stoudamire/Ward/Eisley
Houston/Anderson
Patterson/Nailon
Fizer/Harrington/McDyess (IR)
Thomas/Doleac/Bagaric
which really isn't that great of a lineup, I'll admit, but it's younger, more balanced, and cheaper than you had before.

I think that if any trade takes place, the Knicks must recieve a big man..They just can not play with that ridiculous lineup...I also thin the addition of Nailon means Kurt Thomas will be Traded not Spree
