He's actually been our best player next to David West. Their performances are the two main reasons this team is not 0-11. You should be more surprised that Lance Stephenson is starting at SG in the NBA.

From the box score, it looks like Hibbert had another clumsy, poor game. He's scored in double-figures 4 times this season and is shooting 38% from the floor, 46% from the line. He's been more than solid defensively, but the guy is probably the most mentally weak player I've ever seen. Once an ounce of pressure comes on him, he underperforms, and when people talk about how much he underperforms, he performs worse.

Never thought Id see a 7-2 player shoot 38%. That's just absurd

He's the exact same player. He has always had the same weaknesses. People just got ahead of themselves with a handful of games against shitty teams in a lockout year.

Same as always.

He has a great shot. He can play the pick and roll better than 95% of PG's in the league. He has very nice court vision and can find the open man. Unfortunately, he plays defense at a Nash level, so I much prefer to see him facilitating and providing a spark with the 2nd unit against the lesser guards, because the premier guys in the league just abuse him.

Yeah the Pacers and Sixers were over-pumped by the basketball world last season because they beat up on the dregs of the East. He got a max deal because he's huge, plays good D, and already exceeded his greatly diminished expectations after initially being considered a top talent. Him being an All-Star last year was Jamal Magloire-esque.

Yeah I flipped it to NBATV and they were showing that. You're playing what is apparently your best player 38 minutes in a game that was never close, just so that he can pad his stats. I really don't understand the logic of that, unless you're afraid that Rondo will melt down over it if you don't. If he gets hurt in that situation you're going to get crucified over it.
