LOL there was over 50% chance of it happenning.

If you told me Heat and Thunder were playing I would have said it could go either way 50-50 game. Then you tell me its in Miami I am backing the Heat 65%-35% chance of Heat-Thunder victory.

Then you tell me Clippers are playing the Nuggets I would say 65% chance Clippers victory 35% chance of Nuggets then you tell me it's being played in LA. I will save 80% chance of Clippers victory and 20% of Nuggets.

0.8 * 0.65 = 0.52

That's a good guess but hardly a call from no where :)

I hate to say it, but despite the roll the Clippers are currently on... I don't think they can win a 7-game series against the Spurs in round 2.

They've already beaten the Spurs twice, but I don't take a lot more from it. The Spurs are really good, so are the Grizz and the Thunder. It's going to a pretty nice feat to make it to the Conference finals in the West. Not so sure that all of their depth is going to help them nearly as much in the playoffs either. Honestly I wonder if they might not get better. Caron Butler is probably the worst player in their rotation right now and I expect that Grant Hill and Billups are going to get all of his minutes when they are healthy. In theory at least they can be better with those two healthy, or at least better by removing Butler from the starting lineup.

Willie Green is worse than Caron Butler.

I must not have been paying attention when this happened, but this was pretty deep into garbage time and I was getting ready for bed I think.

Second-year forward Jordan Hamilton of the Denver Nuggets was fined $25,000 by the NBA on Wednesday because of a vulgar exchange with a fan during the team's 112-100 Christmas Day loss to the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center. Hamilton exchanged words with the fan near courtside after returning to the court from chasing a ball that went out of bounds with about 3:50 remaining in the fourth quarter. The exchange was caught by television cameras.
