Most Improved player so far...

I was watching the Bucks game last night witnessing Larry Sanders put up a 17/20 night with a couple of blocks in a win over the Celtics. At this time last year i would have been thrilled if the Bucks traded him for a bag of magic beans. Now the guy is second in the league in blocks per game, he had been efficeint from the floor and is the bucks resident tough guy willing to step up to any opposing player in the league.. I am just stunned at how he has developed here in his third year.. anybody have a particular player that has really stepped up their play so far this season?

Raptors nominate DeMar DeRozan.

He got his contract and has not let us down. Plays so much smarter than previous seasons and has such good instincts when he gets a mismatch on offense. He's also upped his defensive efforts, working hard in the passing lanes and on the boards.

Because roux started it?

Sanders is probably my pick too. I catch myself watching the bucks more than any eastern team besides the Knicks this year partly because of him.

Bucks fans deserve it after having to pretend like bustgout was a franchise player for the last 8 years.

Cousins is clearly the better offensive player and sanders is clearly the better defender. So i guess it depends on what your team needs. Sanders at least doesnt seem to carry the baggage that cousins does so i guess he has that going for him.

I find myself talking about Eric Bledsoe a lot lately and I feel like he should at least be a nominee for this award...not sure he's going to get enough minutes to actually contend for it tho. Anderson Varajeo's play warrants it but I feel like they usually like to give this award to somebody who hasn't been in the league as long as he has. Omer Asik is adapting to his role really well in Houston and if he stays on track, could make some noise for the award. Larry Sanders and Jrue Holiday are probably leading the way

I guess Varejao should be mentioned since he's kinda the runaway nomination right now.

Chandler Parsons, Jrue Holiday, Big Baby Davis, and Corey Brewer jump to mind.

Also, what about Carmelo? I know this award isn't typically given to a perennial all-star, but he has really jumped up another level.

In case anyone is curious about the biggest jump upwards in PER from last season to this season... whoever you were thinking... you were wrong!

It's JIMMER!

No.

You can't boss me around. I own this place and thought the transient property, I own you! I'm not king Kong, I'm the guy who shot him in the face.

Ok then. I disagree with him being MIP because he's doing no better than he did last year. In fact he may have regressed in some areas this year.

Why not give him the citizenship award simply for letting the other 12 guys be on his team?

Can't we just give Lebron the dunk contest and eliminate the event from all-star weekend?
