The Panthers might very well take Coples, but in my opinion it's a bad idea to mock him to Carolina. Hardy is vastly underrated because his sack #s aren't that high, and Applewhite and Keiser both look like solid rotation guys.

Rivera might want to do something like what the Giants have with 3 starting DEs and constantly rotate between them, but the only mock options in my opinion are CB, OT (due to Otah's injury history--though I don't think Hurney wants to go that way), WLB (due to Thomas Davis's injury history), DT, and WR. Frankly, it should be a BPA thing, but DE, RB, QB, MLB, and TE should be avoided. I'm assuming you mocked Coples to the Panthers because a host of sites have done the same, but any site that does it loses some credibility in my eyes (including draftcountdown, which is normally my favorite mock site). It is not a need. Period.

I think a Cleveland-St. Louis swap is very convenient for a mock draft, but not at all likely.

Oh, and I don't see the Packers taking a cornerback ahead of a pass rusher or a DT/DE player if there's value on the board. Personally, I would be irate if we passed on both Devon Still and Fletcher Cox.

I just have a feeling that either Redskins or the Browns are going to trade up for either the #2 or #3 pick and that the Brown's package of the of two first in this draft and a 3rd or 4th round pick is the best available for the Rams.
There are alot of pass rushers that should be available when the Packers pick in the second round and if Dennard falls to the Packers I can't see them passing on him.

If the Vikings cannot get Kalil, I think trading the pick would be the best bet. We have so many holes its not even funny.

Well the front 7 was atrocious all year, and we led the league in INTs by a significant margin, so I disagree with you completely. The loss of Cullen Jenkins really really hurt and is the most significant reason we have fallen so far as a unit. The Defensive Line is just BJ Raji and a bunch of bums.

I agree with you that OLBs will be available later and we could pick one up with #62 or if we get a pick for Flynn, but I see CB as a position where we can afford to draft a project to develop behind Tramon Williams and Charles Woodson. Sam Shields regressed this year, but he's still on the radar to potentially be a starter as well.

I know that was intentional this is pretty much the draft order give or take a few coin flips the next one will have all 32 picks in it.
