Gems or steals from 2012 draft
There's always few players who turn out to be really good, great, studs, or stars. State player(s) you're really high on that you feel confident enough to say it here.
Will be interesting to see down the line who was right. Last edited by Dissonance; 04-29-2012 at 01:11 AM. |

Re: Gems or steals from 2012 draft
Jeff Fuller was a 2nd round pick last year but he went back to school to try and raise his stock to the first round. My Dolphins picked him up after he went undrafted. Nice value pickup and we need WR help badly.

Re: Gems or steals from 2012 draft
I like Philadelphia getting Brandon Boykin in the 4th round. I guess he fell, because he broke his leg at the Senior Bowl and he probably measured shorter than he was listed. Someone said he has "small arms." His production was consistent and he's fast as hell. I hope they let him return some kicks.

Re: Gems or steals from 2012 draft
I really want Russell Wilson to pan out. Mostly because I want Mel Kiper to eat crow until his smarmy ass explodes. "I don't hate Russell Wilson...I just think short people suck" I really don't see why he couldn't beat out the competition in Seattle either. None of those guys look like Joe Montana.

I didn't know until yesterday Bryce Brown only had 3 carries after transferring to Kansas State from Tennessee. He was such a highly recruited RB out of high school even rated ahead of Trent Richardson.

Maybe a real good spot for him with offense, Sherman coaching there, and now Tannehill. Should provide a big target for them. |

Re: Gems or steals from 2012 draft
Reuben Randle is a great pick up for where he was drafted and hes going into a good situation.
Green Bay got a great player in Casey Hayward. I think Miami will be looking for a QB next year or the year after. I'm very curious to see what Michael Brockers does after some highly drafted and lackluster defensive linemen from LSU in the decade. Stephen Hill intrigues me in New York I really like T.Y. Hilton to the Colts for some reason.

Re: Gems or steals from 2012 draft
Lamar Miller.
I'm definitely biased but I don't care. The kid is a stud. Didn't get the ball enough and was only a RS Sophomore. Has a lot of miles left on his legs and can help out special teams. Can't get much better out of a 4th round pick. TY Hilton is gonna be a good player too. Might just be as a returner but he's electric. |
