If I'm the Chiefs, I take the chance on Geno Smith. Gotta roll the dice. I think he can be good/pretty good very least. QBs always get pushed higher for value as we've seen even in shitty QB drafts so they might just have to take him #1.

I think you can get the same Value that you would get from Smith as you would a QB in the 2nd-3rd in this draft

I'm not sure who you're talking about. There don't seem to be a ton of NFL QB's in this draft. I'd guess that the next guy is probably Murray from Georgia and someone will reach for him before the second round comes. After that you're talking about Bray, Barkley, EJ Manuel, the guy from Arkansas and Logan Thomas...none of whom are looking anything like the guy to even be your caretaker QB. Glennon might go before some of them and I suspect that he's going to be a crash test dummy for NFL pass rushers.

That exactly why i said it. There is not much QB talent in this draft and that includes Geno Smith. I dont think there is much difference between Smith and rest of the pack and it isnt a very good pack anywhere

I think Smith projects out as a solid QB. And I don't see anyone else in this pool that does. Are the Chiefs supposed to punt next year too in hopes that something better comes along?

Vick,Smith,Flynn hell take a shot at Kirk Cousin if he turns out to have a good game in place of RG3

I just dont think this is the draft you waste the #1 pick on a QB unless someone blows minds at the combine

No, as I said, I don't expect them to use #1 on Smith. I expect them to trade down with someone like Carolina or Tennessee and pick up extra selections and then draft a QB. There's no sense in trading for a QB that's only ever looked good on a Superbowl contender. That is, literally, what got them into this mess.

I don't see any reason why Smith wouldn't go 1st. Unless he botches the 40 he's the guy. His stock will rise leading up to the draft. Athletic, great arm strength, very good accuracy...he's not RGIII but that doesn't mean he's a bad player.

In 2012, Hunt was on top of his list. According to Feldman, Hunt "sounds like a PlayStation football creation"—despite his 82-inch (2.1 m) wingspan, he is able to bench press 225 pounds (102 kg) 35 times, and has also cleaned 384 pounds (174 kg) and snatched 345 pounds (156 kg). Hunt also boasts a 36-inch (91 cm) vertical jump. Wollman predicts that Hunt will have 45 repetitions and a 4.6-second 40-yard dash at the 2013 NFL combine.
