Re: 2013 NFL Scouting Combine Thread
What's Robinsons project draft range at the moment? I get the feeling he's climbing boards quickly.

Re: 2013 NFL Scouting Combine Thread
Am I the only who thinks it would be a mistake if the Chiefs didn't take Geno Smith? I see him as someone who is going to be an above average quarterback at worst, possibly a lot more.

I couldn't hate on them for not doing it, simply because there are some really talented guys up at the top, but I agree that Geno should be the pick for them. If you think he's worth it at 5 or 7, than he's worth it at 1 given the position he plays and how he plays it.

Re: 2013 NFL Scouting Combine Thread
I agree with you croco. I like Geno and he may not be a true franchise guy but he should be good enough no worse than above average like you said. And it's not like there's a standout talent to take instead either. Not much separation from the top 10 projected guys either from rest of the draft. I like the depth and even players projected to go later more than some.

Onterio McCalebb ran 4.21? Fastest ever
edit: nm. Official time 4.34. Wouldn't be worth mentioning now. Tavon Austin's official time is 4.34. Last edited by Dissonance; 02-24-2013 at 12:47 PM. |

Re: 2013 NFL Scouting Combine Thread
Denard had a 36.5 inch vertical? Damn.
Geno Smith running a 4.59 is good news for him (#1 QB time), he's not Denard Robinson but he at least showed he's athletic. It's a shame Klein didn't run a little better, I'm sure that would have helped his draft stock. EJ Manuel had a solid 40 time, I wonder where he goes.

Re: 2013 NFL Scouting Combine Thread
Probably, not FSH, but he and we are saying THEY SHOULD.
Klein needs an arm transplant to improve his draft stock. Sounds like Rd 2 for EJ Manuel. A month ago I thought 3-4. But he's improved apparently. |

Re: 2013 NFL Scouting Combine Thread
TE Talk
Tyler Eifert should be greatly benefited by his showing in the drills and measurements. 6-6 250lbs, shows off his NFL ready size, 22 bench reps is near the top in this years class (Vance McDonald ran away with the best at 31, 2nd best was 22), 4.68 40 shows he has some straight-line speed, and a 35.5 inch vertical to top it off. Really looks like your prototypical TE in the modern day NFL. Chris Gragg measured in at 6-3 244lbs, ran a TE best 4.50 in the 40 (4.44 unofficial). 18 bench reps shows he's at least ballpark strong enough to be a capable blocker, and boasted another TE best 37.5 inch vertical. His draft stock should be interesting to keep an eye on.

Re: 2013 NFL Scouting Combine Thread
I know but they arent gonna take him. Andy Reid is gonna take is big time OT #1 and probably Trade for a QB. Im guessing that 3rd round pick is going to either Eagles for Foles or 49ers for Smith
