Start Westbrook

This team is terrible, PJ needs to realize this and play these younger guys. Westbrook should be starting with Green and Durant. This team is headed to the lottery no matter what this year, might as well let these guys develop some chemistry together.

A player so utterly dominant that the game will forever be changed.

Re: Start Westbrook

He will start rather sooner than later, he isn't good enough to be a starting point guard right now thozgh. You can bring him along slowly, give him 20-25 minutes a night, let him earn that job from Earl Watson.

Re: Start Westbrook

If he's not the starting PG by the time the New Year rolls around, I'd be very surprised. He looked great last night against Minnesota, and I just have never seen Earl Watson as a starter in this league.

Re: Start Westbrook

He'll start when PJ thinks he's ready. It should happen before the All-Star break.

Re: Start Westbrook

I think still think that Green wasn't a good pick after they picked Durant (he is a good player, just not a fit next to Durant). This team would be way better with Brewer as SG (he's not as good as Green, but a better fit) so that Durant could play his natural position at SF, and have a good defender next to him so he can focus more on scoring. Westbrook/Brewer/Durant would have been a good combo, and a really good defensive one at that. Combine that with next years draft pick (Greg Monroe or BJ Mullens) and Collison and that's a really promising team.

Agree 100%, either Brewer or they could have traded down picked up an extra draft 1st and gotten someone like Stuckey or Nick Young.

Learn by doing. Get him out there and let him get better playing against the best PG's in the league. He's not gonna back down from anyone and he'll probably end up a lot better for it next season.
