Common Sense Issue on the part of the NBA?
Just out of curiosity, maybe I'm wrong, but this is just a quick thought I had. Why in the world isn't this team in Tulsa? It's a more recognizable, easier to say, and overall better flowing city name, OKC is barely larger than Tulsa in terms of population and also the BOK Center was already planned, brand new, and ready for pro basketball. The Thunder payed for the renovations for the Ford Center when they had a brand new arena in Tulsa down the road. Maybe I'm wrong, but shouldn't this team be in Tulsa? Regardless of the "success" (or lack thereof) with the Hornets in town? It just seems like less of a money risk...
