but come on..ben gordan has a better chance to be the rookie of the year over dwight??i dont think even emeka has a better chance than howard...in my mind i think loul deng has the best shot

Makes me wonder when the poll was taken. From what I have read, Gordon was pretty miserable in preseason, but like myself, before preseason Gordon was one of my favorites for the award. If the poll was done a while back it makes sense.

Same here. Gordon was my favorite to win originally, but I watched him play a game in the preseason and I'm starting to think the adjustment to the pro game is going to be harder than most people think for him. I didn't get to see Okafor play, but from the stats and most people's accounts, he wasn't too impressive either. Dwight certainly has a good shot at it from what he's shown thus far.
