He was dropped and tried out for the Bobvats this year but was released, haven't heard anything about him since then.

He had some talent? Man, I never saw it. The only guy in Orlando in recent memory worse than Sasser was Reece Gaines. I seriously doubt you'll ever see the Sass-man in the NBA again.

Jeryl Sasser played for the Mavs in preseason, and was great for us. He was a big surprise, a good shooter who racked up about 10 points a game in preseason. I wish we would of kept him as he would be useful now that Finley's injured
He is worth picking up, he played really well in the preseason. As for the question, we released him

Sarcasm? I hope so. Sasser is one of the worst first round picks in the history of the NBA.

He had some big scoring games. He's a good scorer. Maybe not consistent though, I don't know.
Sorry, I just wondered where he was.

Funny thing is he was a great scorer in college, but while he was in Orlando, his offense was atrocious.

I believe that was a different Sasser, Jason Sasser to be exact. I'm not sure that this is the Sasser that is Jeryl's brother or not, but I know Jeryl has had a brother who was playing over in the Phillipines from what I remember from living in South East Asia.
Jason Sasser use to play for Texas Tech, if that helps you out any.
Jeryl Sasser was signed to the Mavs this summer though, both were dropped. And Jason is his brother.
