Looking back on the Nelson trade

Magic fans, how do you feel about the trade that brought you Jameer Nelson? Would you rather have the Wizards pick for the 2005 draft or for your team's needs, was it better to get Nelson and have him for the season?

I've asked the same question from the Nuggets perspective here

I believe that this is a trade that has worked out well for both teams. What are your thoughts?

I most definitely think it was a good trade. The way Jameer has played the last month or so, he is making a point that he should have been taken in the lottery. I think it was definitely a good move to grab him. I know Orlando management was elated when he fell so far. They said he was the one guy they were willing to make that trade for.

Re: Looking back on the Nelson trade

Great trade for us. Nelson is going to be a great PG in this league and giving up a 1st rounder that will be in the 20s for him was well worth it. I'm still trying to figure out how this kid dropped so far?
