I have never heard about this rumor, but it has a lot of sense. Lets see a pair of points:

1º- Orlando really needs a C

2º- The Magic wont be players in Free Agency, due to Gabriel's great mistake with Garrity's contract. Just with only 6 M in cap room no all star will go to Florida

3º- Cleveland wants to unload Ilgauskas and his contract badly, and would take any offer with a draft pick and some cap clearance

4º- Orlando could really put up an offer with the 1st round pick next season, DeClercq (who ends contract), Hunter and filler, for Z.

5º- Z is a risky choice, but his contract is over in 2 seasons, and would clear 12 M off the books. If Z is healthly, the Magig are contenders

i didnt check it, but it will work for sure if Darrell Armstrong is added, i think Declercq and Darrell make 12 M, the salary of Ilgauskas

The trade will make the Magic maybe the 4th seed in the East, but I think Mulk has a point - the Magic gambled before and it didn't pay off.
