could you guys see it happening? once the ben wallaces and ron artests decline/retire, is it possible?

If he doesn't win one over his career I'd be surprised. Ron Artest is unreal as of late, not only is he defending well...but 4.5spg is insane.

He's averaging like 2.8 blocks so far this season. He's really picked it up defensively, controlling the paint defensively.

I personally don't. It's hard for perimeter players to win the DPOY award because they can't effect team defense like a big man can. I personally think Iguodala could be a perennial All-Defense 1st Team if he wants, but I don't see him winning a DPOY. As for Emeka, Dwight is just better.

There will be other choices (Wallace, Iguodala, etc.), of course, but if Dwight continues to progress as a great defender, he'll win a few DPOYs.
