Orlando vs Minnesota (11/11)

Not sure what has gotten into Dwight tonight. His is rebounding like a madman and playing incredibly aggressive.

10 pts and 9 rebs with 2 mins to go in the 1st.

Re: Orlando vs Minnesota (11/11)

This is the best all-around basketball we've played this year. We are pouding the ball inside to Dwight and Darko on every opportunity and playing good defense. I like having Ariza back out on the court. He is very good defensively and hits the boards hard.

Minny's interior defense is pretty bad. They even got beasted a couple times by Pat Garrity.

Re: Orlando vs Minnesota (11/11)

This is what happens when we don't turn the ball over ... 65% shooting, only 5 turnovers, and an 18 pt lead.

Hey J-Nice.. Since I haven't got the chance to watch Orlando this season yet (no televised yet here in our country, I think only 1 game which I missed), I would like to ask how is Jameer's defense?

I guess I'd have to say adequate. He's not a stopper and never will be but he also isn't a matador. I think everyone tries to make a big deal out of him being small but he's super quick and strong as an ox so he can hold his own. I don't think he is a defensive liability because of his size ... at least not on most nights.

Re: Orlando vs Minnesota (11/11)

Probably because Dwight's playing KG. Psychologically I'd say he'd be pumped up for this game. He'll get his 20/20 this game. I'm more impressed by the 0 fouls and 0 TOs from Dwight. Our pace is also higher this game, obviously the 5 TOs thus far helps but we're at our season average nearly after 3 quarters while still shooting a high percentage.

Re: Orlando vs Minnesota (11/11)

This game has been a glimpse of what Darko and Dwight could potentially do together.

So far with tons of time left they got a combined 34 pts, 24 rebs.

And Trevor Ariza has been great. I really like this kid.

Re: Orlando vs Minnesota (11/11)

Good road win. We controlled the game throughout. Good to see Ariza back in uniform. He had some fantastic offensive rebounds.

We still to easily forget about Dwight late in games like this. He should have had 30 pts tonight. And I don't understand Garrity getting so much late PT.

to me tony battie gets too much pt. Darko needs to stay out of foul trouble. obviously they call the game differently across the pond.

That was great to watch.

I love Trevor Ariza. He's improved his jumpshot tremendously.

He wasn't tonight. And he was playing well when he got pulled in favor of Garrity who pretty much closed out the game. Not sure why.

Battie spent a lot of time on the bench tonight.

Good game! Reduced turnovers and outrebounded them, that was our first road win.

Free throws. Darko sucks from the line. B.Hill knew FTs were coming.
