What's the story on JJ Reddick?
just curious. I thought he's going to be more useful.

Injury early .... and now, just no room for him to play. Nelson, Arroyo, Dooling, Ariza, Bogans. He's not going to take minutes from any of those guys right now.

Probably not worth it. With Dwight and Darko developing down low, he could be really valuable down the road. And trading him isn't going to fetch Orlando anything they really need.

He won't get traded. Reddick, being the pure shooter he is, will be very valuable to the Magic in the future. Right now he isn't getting playing time because he was injuried early and the Magic already have a super deep backcourt (Ariza, Bogans, Arroyo, Nelson, Dooling). Reddick will eventually get his chance, but it won't be any time soon as long as the Magic keep winning.

I doubt anyone is jumping at the chance to get Redick right now. A totally unproven rookie, with a lot of doubters. We couldn't get anything for him.

Exactly ... so there is really no reason to trade him. The only thing I can think of right now that we might need, barring any new injuries, is possibly another big who can contribute off the bench. But the rotation of Dwight, Darko, and Battie has pretty much taken all those minutes and they've avoided foul trouble ... so...
Other than that, I could see maybe getting a couple of 2nd rounders or maybe a late first from a top team ... neither of which would really be worth it.
