Enigma

Let me preface this by saying this has about a 1% chance of this happening.

First, the Spurs must sign Jason Kidd, Elton Brand, or whoever except Jermaine O'Neal.

Second, the Magic must get the injury exception for Grant Hill.

Third, Jermaine has said he would really like to play in a warm weather city. He has also said he would only consider San Antonio, Orlando, or Indianapolis. There has also been rumors of a rift between a number of the Pacer players.

Fourth, because San Antonio has no money left after going another direction, and if the rumors are true about the rift with Pacer teammates, J. O'Neal forces a sign and trade like T-Mac did with the Raptors.

Fifth, we trade the injury exemption, along with some future first rounders, and guys like Pat Garrity, Drew Declercq, and/or Jeryl Sasser to even up the saleries

Next, convince DA to re-sign for the minimum. Sign Antonio Daniels with the 1.5 exception and convince someone like Corey Maggette to sign for the mid-level exception. Re-sign Kemp for the minimum.

Finally, draft a PG like Gaines, Barbosa, Ridniour or Planinic with the first pick and draft someone like Uche Nswondu-Amadi in the second round. Sign an undrafted free agent like Kyle Korver

Lineup:
PG: Daniels/DA/Gaines
SG: Maggette/Giricek/Gaines
SF: T-Mac/Korver
PF: Gooden/Kemp/Uche
C: O'Neal/Hunter/Uche


I've also heard that just because we got the injury exception for Grant Hill, doesn't mean he can't return by the playoffs. That would be one scary team.

Again, there's just about no chance of this happening, but it's nice to dream.

It is a nice thought, but it is a pipe dream. It almost always comes down to money, and we dont have it. If we had the money, I think we'd have a great shot at Jermaine, but it aint gonna happen.

BTW when does Grant hill contract ends because if by the time TMAC becomes a free agent he might be willing to go to another team.Remember he only came to orlando because it was closes to his home and Hill try to convience him to come to where he is now.

Miami was really close to making a deal work to get TMAC when he was in TORONTO but orlando won that battle.Who would of thought he would become the player he is now.

Oh, what we fans of TMac would do for something like this to happen!!! All we want is something near to a "Shaq"- like player to ease the burden of TMac having to do almost everything on his team!


Until Gooden arrived - TMac actually was leading his team in rebounding and blocked shots - HOW bad of a team do you have when your #2 guard has to lead in those categories???
