Travis diener... signs
Diener is gone to Indiana for a 2 year contract with a 3rd year player option.
Travis, it was nice to know you and wish you the best. You were a great guy and never complained about minutes despite being buried behind two horrible backup point guards. You are a true professional.
Love,
Magic fans everywhere

Re: Travis diener... signs
He should see decent minutes, when Tinsley gets injured.
Is Arroyo a FA or not?
I think you should be and plead Brevin Knight to come tutor Nelson.
Yes, you'd have a very small pg tandem, but hey!

How well is the Knicks Starters vs NBA Team Starters? 60%? 50%? 40%? or are we waiting to see by being optimistic because we have a new additional player in the Starting lineup that we assume Stat sheet record says he is better with this Knick roster than the guy he is replacing?

Re: Travis diener... signs
Should've kept him, he is a lot better than Arroyo.

Re: Travis diener... signs
That's a shame. He never really got a chance. I'd much rather see him as backup PG than Arroyo. There isn't really anything Arroyo does better except occasionally make a really flashy pass. And Diener is a far, far better shooter.

Re: Travis diener... signs
wow... what a bad deal, we shouldn't have dropped him..
i would much rather have diener over arroyo and dooling... although i try not to consider dooling a 1. FA options are running slim at this point, and i do NOT think this was a good move at all to let diener go.

Re: Travis diener... signs
Diener is a very solid player for a second rounder. Another sad one to watch leave, but I guess you can`t keep everyone (or anyone in some cases apparently). It`s been that kind of off-season for us.

Re: Travis diener... signs
Good luck to Travis. I have always been high on him. Hard to be a fan of someone who never plays. I have always liked him and I wonder if he breaks out and becomes a capable backup PG (I think he has the talent to do so), what will the Magic organization say next.

Re: Travis diener... signs
Unfortunate, but I'm still hoping to NOT see Keyon Dooling next season.

Re: Travis diener... signs
Well, if you want a serviceable backup PG, you can try to trade for Antonio Daniels. Washington seems to be close to just give him away, because of his contract. Arroyo and Garrity (or Dooling) for him and some filler works fine for both teams!

Re: Travis diener... signs
my thing is I dont understand why Jameer feels the need to shoot so much, its like he should know his career will be prolonged the more he looks for his teammates
