Oakley thinks he can help the Magic
http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_ar...an_help_magic/
He may really help, but he is asking for too much money, and he is coming to the media and saying he can help every team of this league.
Thoughts?

Re: Oakley thinks he can help the Magic
If were Orlando I'd sign him. He can't be asking for more than the minimum and with his number of years in the NBA I think the NBA covers most of the contract. Give him one year and maybe he can toughen Dwight up a bit.

Re: Oakley thinks he can help the Magic
Non of these "comebackers" can really play anymore. They just can face their true selves of being old. I know the front office knows better. They won't bring back these old people as players. Coaching is the closest thing they can do to get back to the NBA.

What's the difference? It would be kind of like Bo Outlaw last year. He played 5 minutes every 8 games. I'm sure Oak could handle that. As a player at least he'd be able to get in there and bang Dwight around during practice.

Re: Oakley thinks he can help the Magic
As long as it`s at the vets min. for 1 year, I don`t see any harm in it. He`s not a cancerous player, and can go in the game every so often and rough the big men on the other team up.

JNice aren't you tired of the Magic picking up all these over the hill players (Ewing, Kemp, Augmon, and now maybe Charles Oakley)?

If you were to offer me 44 million dollars right now, I would offer to give you a ring made out of 3 of my fingers, part of my penis, and any other body part you would like. JO wants to win? Great. If I'd make a penis ring for 44 million dollars, JO would stay in Indy and lose for it as well.
