Andre Miller is on the block. Magic need to trade for him.
Philly is probably wanting cap relieve to get out of luxury tax area and because they will more then likely like the space to add a high lottery pick.
Magic trade: Reddick, Garrity, Arroyo
Philly trade: Miller
Trade Accepted.
Why Philly does it: They need cap space and Arroyo/Garrity's contracts come off the books equaling nearly 8 million in relieve. Plus they get a possible keeper in Reddick who has a small contract so if they don't want him he is easily moved for more cap relieve.
Why Orlando does it: Since they traded for Evans and Cook, they have no need for Garrity or Reddick. Plus Miller = upgrade over Arroyo for backup PG. This gives the Magic enough off their bench to make a run at the NBA finals this year IMO.
What do you guys think?

I think Miller is a starter in this league, and we can't bench Nelson who is playing great now...In the offseason I was dreaming about sending Nelson to Sixers for Miller, but now I am not so sure...

Miller can't even attempt to shoot 3 point shots. I don't think the Magic are interested, if they want to build around Dwight (obviously they do), then they won't trade for him IMO. The Heat shouldn't be interested either, as we need a good shooter at PG. Miller's much more valuable to a team like Denver IMO.

Re: Andre Miller is on the block. Magic need to trade for him.
If you think about it, Miller really doesn't take the 3 point shot much, if at all, but he does shoot 47% from the field. He would be deadly with Howard on those pick and rolls the Magic love to run, not only with his mid range shot, but his passing skills.
I also think he is a bench player at this point in his career. He would be a great backup for the Magic and a major upgrade to our bench. This trade would be addition by subtraction for the Magic. The only thing I don't like is the money he makes. 9 million this year and 10 million next year. That is a lot to pay for a bench player, but it could be worth it if the Magic get a top 2 seed this year and go deep into the playoffs.

He'd mess up the spacing IMO. Because this isn't like Jason Kidd, who can actually knock down open 3s. Miller can't make wide open 3s. Meaning, his defender would be able to double down low on Howard and just leave Miller wide open, or, Miller would have to step inside the arc, allowing his defender to be within reach of Howard on the post. The main reason for the Magic's success so far has been their excellent spacing. You don't want Miller here, as he'd mess that up. Having a dominant big surrounded by shooters is a very deadly combination.

Are you all nuts? Just think how much better Howard would be with Miller throwing him lobs... Nelson is Damon Stoudamire redux, you don't pass up a trade because you're afraid of hurting Nelsons' feeling.

Well they would still have spacing. Miller IMO is a better passer than Nelson, although I think Nelson is a better PG at this point in their careers. The pick and roll with Miller would be deadly because he can make that mid range jumper, which is what the pick and roll gets you or a deep in the post Howard. He would also be an upgrade over Arroyo, who can't pass, shoot the 3 and plays some of the most selfish ball I have ever seen.

Andre Miler is playing horrible for the Sixers. I wouldn't make that trade. I would make a trade to add another bench scorer perhaps (like a Josh Childress or a Ryan Gomes).

I wouldn't mind doing that either.

I think we need a shot blocking four more than an exchange of point guards.
