SEATTLE – Magic point guard Jameer Nelson and shooting guard Keyon Dooling missed Orlando’s practice Tuesday in Seattle, but both still could play Wednesday against the Sonics.
Nelson injured his hand in the third quarter of Monday’s win in Portland. Nelson fell hard to the floor after a collision. He stayed in the game, but didn’t play in the fourth quarter as Carols Arroyo ran the offense.
Nelson had X-rays on his hand Tuesday and no bone breaks were revealed.
Dooling, the Magic’s best reserve this season, didn’t play Monday after contracting a case of food poisoning. Dooling needed an IV during the game and didn’t sit on the bench with the team.
Dooling said after Monday’s game that he hopes to play Wednesday against Seattle.
