Ok.. with how well Dwight is doing, and Lebron got hurt tonight.

My question is...

Is it possible for someone to win MVP and MIP??!!

Didn't Tmac win most improved and something else in the same year when he was here? And didn't Armstrong win MIP and 6th Man?

It could happen, but I doubt it happens. Dwight right now has to be lead candidate for MVP. Lebron has put up amazing stats, but his team is tinkering around .500 and they don't give out the MVP award to players on .500 clubs. You need to have amazing stats, to go with a top 1 or 2 seeded team to normally win MVP honors. Howard has both right now.

If the Magic keep playing like now then Dwight Howard will be an obvious candidate for MVP award this season...

Dwight is an MVP candidate as of right now. For him though if it comes down to the end of the season and some bigger names like Duncan, KG, and/or Lebron have pretty close team numbers they'll have an advantage over Dwight in the end given relatively equal numbers. Usually the early favorite doesn't win but I don't really care... he is playing great.
