Re: Orlando/Sacramento trade rumors
That first one is great. Miller may not be at the same level he has been, but that's a damn good partner for Dwight.

Re: Orlando/Sacramento trade rumors
Now I'm reading that J.J. Redick would be a part of the Brad Miller deal. The money still work out on the trade checker if he is added...

Re: Orlando/Sacramento trade rumors
I really really like this move. Sacramento wants to save money badly.
Nelson
Turkoglu
Lewis
Miller
Howard

The rumor are coming from here, by the way. Guy seems to know what he is talking about.

MAGIC GM OTIS SMITH COMMENTS ON SACRAMENTO TRADE RUMOR
Quote:
|
I checked it out and here’s what I was told by Magic GM Otis Smith: It’s not happening. Then, Otis semi-chided me for throwing out the Miller scenario because he knows that I’m well aware of what Miller is still owed contractually. And he’s repeatedly told me he’s not risking this team’s long-term future with bad, multi-year contracts.

Re: Orlando/Sacramento trade rumors
damn... i would love to see the Miller deal done.
i love how there were articles quoting Otis saying he didn't want to do anything before the deadline and now there are multiple articles that explain Otis keepin an eye open and it seems from a lot of rumors that he is trying to get something done.

Re: Orlando/Sacramento trade rumors
Oh well, I still expect a move from Orlando before the deadline.

Re: Orlando/Sacramento trade rumors
i'd like to see the brad miller trade done as well. i'd also like to see orlando upgrade at point, possibly with ben gordon. too bad nelson is inked long-term.

Re: Orlando/Sacramento trade rumors
We won't know if it is truly shot down until tomorrow morning. The deadline is 0800 tomorrow to take it or leave it. I can't believe Devos is being cheap now when he just spent all that money on Howard, Nelson and Lewis. The Magic just destroyed the Pistons tonight. If they get Garcia and Miller they will be a legit contender for the NBA title this year IMO.

Re: Orlando/Sacramento trade rumors
The Sacramento Bee's Kings beat writer shot it down as well. We'll have to see when the rumored deadline comes....

How on earth is Ben Gordon an upgrade at point guard?
He's a scoring guard, much moreso than Nelson..
As for loading down the franchise with bad longterm contracts, I don't see Miller's 2 years making much difference when the team looks to be over the cap for the rest of Dwight and Lewis' tenure in Orlando anyway..

How well is the Knicks Starters vs NBA Team Starters? 60%? 50%? 40%? or are we waiting to see by being optimistic because we have a new additional player in the Starting lineup that we assume Stat sheet record says he is better with this Knick roster than the guy he is replacing?
