Magic v Raps: Post Game Breakdown

Alot of people on the Raptors board think that they are going to win the next game and their primary reasoning is that they dont think we will be as hot as we were on Sunday. Granted, they dont even realize that at the end of the game, their 3pt% was higher then ours was, and yet we still beat them by 14. The overall difference was not our shooting but it was the fact that we attacked the basket and finished our FG's a ****load more efficiently then they did, where as they just stood back and settled for long jumpers cuz they were basically scared of Dwight. They dont acknolegde this.

And I just could not believe how the Raptor's kept letting our guys drive right down the middle of the lane like it was some kind of an open invitation. I will give the Raps props for closing out on our shooters in the 2nd half, but then we just went back to feeding the paint and to attacking the basket and they could not stop that at all...Overall, I would give their defense an "F". They also claim that we will play poorly on the road, when we are in fact tied for the 2nd best road record in the league and then they accuse me as being misleading for bringing up statistical facts. They are delusional. The fact is, they fail to acknoledge everything we did outside of the 1st quarter, which is rediculous. Although we shoot alot of threes and are good at it, shooting is not our only weapon like it is theirs....We dont live and die by like them which is somehow what they think. They didnt realize that Hedo, Jameer, 'Shard and Dwight can all get to the rim effectively on any of their players, and they quite frankly had no answer for it. Last game Dwight was a monster on the offensive boards, but they dont see these things, they just look at the 1st quarter as a fluke, even though we outscored them in the 2nd half as well...

I do expect a much different looking game in game 2 by the Raptors...but still, they need to give us some props too cuz we outplayed them in nearly all aspects of the game. All they're doing right now is making up false, wishful claims, and then they get mad when you try and bring facts into the discussion. I understand that they are going to be optimistic about their team as fans, but going over their it seemed as if we had watched 2 completely different games or something. I just did not see half of the things that they were claiming.

Re: Magic v Raps: Post Game Breakdown

I'm not really sure what they are looking at? After the 1st quarter the Raptors out scored the Magic for the rest of the game by a total of 6. The Magic out played them all over the floor and Howard is as focused as I have ever seen him.
