I'm glad they have a tenacious little PG. Now DA is truly gone and Lue can help Gaines to develop and not feel the entire load himself.

DID anybody claim that grizz???
I personally did not want DA back and would have liked to get Daniels to help train Gaines - but whatever AND wherever does THAT "wish" have to do with what you say somebody said Lue would take the Magic "all the way"????
I believe your accusation is in error!

The Magic CAN win the East however. Theyre now the 2nd best team to the Nets, and might be able to make it to the finals.

Well, I was hoping for Daniels and not Lue. I personally would have much rather had Darrel Armstrong than Lue, but hopefully he will prove me wrong.
Side Note - I think the best thing we can all do is just ignore Grizzo, since it is obvious he just goes around trying to start things, at least that is what i am gonna do in the future.

Okay.....how would lue help develop Gaines.......he is not even that experience..........DA is a veteran and he could have helped.........
Daniels maybe but he was never a leader.
In my opinion they should have kept DA for the minumum

Wow, with Lue, our point guard situation has to be suspect. Lue, while a fine backup, does not have nearly enough talent to start. I think the Magic organization is a little too confident in Gaines ability and they don't realize that he is still a rookie and is not certain to make solid contributions. Daniels, although understandably more expensive, would have been a better pickup.

In a perfect world we would have resigned Armstrong to mentor Gaines. However, I believe Lue is the second best option. Like somebody pointed out earlier he is the perfect complement to the big point guard Gaines. Lue also has more experience than Daniels, and he's probably cheaper. Lue gives the Magic a lot of flexibility for their lineups next year:
These are the 3 I think we'll see the most:
Small Lineup
Lue/Gaines
T-Mac
Giricek
Gooden
Howard
Big Lineup
Lue/Gaines
T-Mac
Howard
Gooden
DeClerq/Hunter
2 PG Set (Doc used this a lot once we got Whitney)
Lue
Gaines
T-Mac
Gooden
Howard
Also, I think Lue can handle being the starter at the beginning unlike some people suggested. I think he will play 25-30 mins which is what he did in Washington. Also, Gaines will end up playing about those minutes. IMO we'll see a lot of that 2 PG lineup that I posted, or some variation of it, especially later in the season as Gaines gets experience.

That is what I am expecting, too. Good reply - concise.
