Give Bogans some love!
I read today he had a double-double. Not bad for a second round rookie huh?

He's playing very well. Props to him. College does pay off.

I love Bogans too. His heart is in the right place for sure. Easily one of the nicest guys I've met in a long time. I can't wait for a Pistons versus Magic game (Tayshaun and Keith). Chances are they won't be guarding eachother, but let's see how these two former teammates and friends play against eachother.

First of all, that sounds like pure hating. He's a rookie and got a double-double and your trying to detract from him. Most people can agree that's kind of sad.
More turnovers than assists? He's averaging 1 turnover and .5 assists. BIG DEAL! Those are two very small numbers and you tried to take those two stats and make it seem like a big deal. He's also averaging 1 steal and 6 points. Sounds like your ignoring his positive stats. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but according to what I read in the paper this morning, Bogans is also only averaging 1 attempt from 3 point range a game, so his whole 10% from 3 point range is no big deal at all.
Your post sounds like pure classic hating. Do I need to enforce the fact he's a second round rookie that's played only 11 games in the NBA, still adjusting to the extended 3 point line, and is averaging 25 minutes? All of this and he gets a double-double, which is pretty impressive no matter how you look at it.
BTW-Just so you don't think I'm completely ignoring all of his stats, I'll go ahead and post a link to them. Those stats aren't so incredibly bad like you try and make them out to be.

Check out his rebounding numbers. Again, not bad for a second round rookie who's only played 11 NBA games huh?
Anyways, go Bogans!

I agree Bogans will score more if he gets more minutes. I think he can be a solid back up or sixth man before the end of his career. He's a great rebounder for his position too.

He reminds me of Q Richardson with his rebounding ability at guard. That is something that Orlando can really use. Hopefully his shooting will improve, although he isnt shooting much.

bogans is great but your gonna put him in front of Juwan Howard? cmon Doc howard is something this team needs, VETERAN LEADERSHIP!!! other than howard ( i think declerq) is 30 or above and has 10 years of experience. bogans is good but putting juwan on the bench is not good because you already get offense from the bench in Giricek and Garrity, oh and no offenxe to bogans but howard can easily get a double double anytime as they only rely on gooden and howard to rebound

I think with the return of Giricek, Bogans will probably play better. Giricek is only a sophomore, but I think he plays like a veteran because he plays solid(minus the playoffs performance). I'd like to think of him as a poor man's Brent Barry, minus the defense and leadership skills. I think with Giricek, Bogans will be more effective off the bench. The two will make a great 2, 3 combo off the bench.

I know Howard can get a double-double fairly easily, but I think it's impressive for Bogans since he's only a second round rookie that's played 11 games in the NBA.

Was it bogans who missed the wide open layup on a 3-0 fastbreak?

Well, Juwan was put on the bench to try to spark him to play better. Also because Juwan at center was not working and Gooden at SF was not working. And Gooden is the future at PF, so the organization does not want to sit him.
I see no problem with Juwan coming off the bench, he is still going to get his 30+ mins a game.
